This 7-units property stands among the vineyards of Fattoria Sardi which plays the role of the leading winery in the Lucca Wine Country.
The magnificent setting features the gentle rolling hills and fragrant wine country for which Tuscany is so famous. Set on a private Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot vineyard, Fattoria Sardi Wine Resort features the most iconic panoramic country scenes of Tuscany.
The units have been renovated in late 2022 with an eye to traditional style and touches of quietness. Airy and spacious, they offer a movie-worthy retreat in the Tuscan countryside just minutes away from the Walls of Lucca and many other daily-trips-destionations such as Florence, Pietrasanta, Cinque Terre, Pisa and San Gimignano.
Your vacation at Fattoria Sardi Wine Resort can be as relaxing or active as you like. Stroll the grounds and explore the estate, take a swim in the pool, cook up produce from the local market or treat yourself discovering the secrets of wine making through the cellars of the winery. If you’d rather just unwind, you can sunbathe on the shared lawn by the pool or hide yourself to sip literally home grown wine in your private hidden corner of paradise: each unit has ist own private garden fully furnished with outdoor equipments.
A true Tuscan experience wouldn’t be complete without a trip into town. Luckily, it’s only a 5-minute drive or a 30-minute walk from Fattoria Sardi Wine Resort to the town of Lucca, where you’ll find grocery stores, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and world class monuments. A shared laundry in the estate is equipped with 2 washing machines and 1 clothes dryer, they are accesible from 8am to 8pm.

What a beautiful spot! The views over the vineyards are classic Tuscany! This space was perfect for my husband and me, and allowed us to have a few self-catered meals in the private garden space, which was a treat. The multi-course dinner we also arrsee more
What a beautiful spot! The views over the vineyards are classic Tuscany! This space was perfect for my husband and me, and allowed us to have a few self-catered meals in the private garden space, which was a treat. The multi-course dinner we also arranged at Winery was delicious. So fresh!! We loved being outside of Lucca but only a 10-minute drive into town. We slept with the windows open (with screens) and woke to the sound of birds. The pool was a great spot to relax for the day. Also, a well equipped kitchen but bring your own coffee, oil, salt, etc. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a more low-key Tuscan trip!

If you are questioning whethernot to book this spot- go for it!! We had the most beautiful stay. The vineyard is a dream and everyone involved is so incredibly hospitable and kind. The on site restaurant was one of the highlights of the entire trip. see more

The on site restaurant was one of the highlights of the entire trip. Our expectations were so exceeded. The wine was also a highlight- highly recommend doing a tour of the vineyards! We were so proud when we went to Lucca’s only Michelin star restaurant and saw a wine from Fattoria Sardi on the tasting menu. We saw wines from the vineyard on the menus of many restaurants we visited and in all of the local wine shops.
Lucca is such a charming city and you’re only about an 8 minute drive away. I have so much more that I could say but words don’t really do a spot like this justice. It’s magical, safe, picturesque, and peaceful. You’ll feel right at home! (Also- there are the cutest donkeys on the farm!) |

To say the least, we had a wonderful and peaceful stay here. We could relax at the pool whilst enjoying the beautiful view.
The bonus was the little private garden we had for ourselves where we ate in the evening. So nice!
