La Vaseria Country House is the ancient horse stable: it has been fully renovated and converted into a rental home in early 2023 and it consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large living room with kitchen overlooking the outdoor garden, featuring an atmosphere of good times gone-by combined with all the modern comforts.
La Vaseria Country House is located at the edge of the estate with private entrance and the farmhouse is provided with a charming garden with woods and manicured garden facing the main villa.
Case Bernardini is immersed in the large park with corners of extraordinary beauty where you can walk and rest in the silence of nature. The avenues of aromatic herbs, the flowers, the ancient boxwood borders and the centuries-old plants that frame the large pool with the fountain, inside the Italian garden, are an intimate place, squeezed between the ancient walls of the lock and overlooking towards the splendid arcades of the villa where the owner lives.
Roam the Lucca hidden gems within minutes from La Vaseria Country House. Nature lovers will enjoy an adventure trip into the Orrido di Botri by rising up the streams among the woods or Prato Fiorito where the bespoke British Poet Shelley fainted at the intense scent of flowers. Go sightseeing with visiting the ancient town centres of Barga, Coreglia and Ghivizzano or gaze a drink by the medieval Ponte del Diavolo with its curios shape surrounded by the forest. The hosts were fantastic from the moment we arrived and were very prompt in responses to any questions. Check in was easy and informative and we settled into the newly refurbished apartment and Tuscan lifestyle within a few hours of arrival. The property itself is a beautiful old Manor House that has been updated and refurbished to a very high standard and is equipped with everything you need for a fantastic family stay. The garden and swimming pool area are beautiful, and our children loved swimming and having fun around the pool. The property itself is close to Lucca, and close enough to Florence and Pisa for day trips and sight-seeing. A real highlight for us was also the proximity to the coast so we spent several days on the beach and dining out eating fresh seafood with our toes in the sand in Viareggio. The hosts were accommodating and treated our family as if we were an extended part of their own family. My daughter and son spent lots of time playing with the owner’s daughter and son and running in and out of our villa and the owners house which was lovely to see and hear and made our stay feel more like a home away from home. Both our children’s and us have very fond memories of Italy and our stay at this wonderful property and the hospitality shown by the owners and their extended family Overall, a wonderful stay and we will look to return and spend more time in this amazing place. |

And let me tell you, Patrizia, the manager, is the nicest person ever. She made everything easy and awesome. We had a wonderful 5 night stay. The Villa was beautiful, exceptionally clean and well equipped. We were left a welcome pack which was very generous and very much welcomed. A fantastic base to explore the lovely towns and villages. Very quiet see more
